Things to Consider Before Hiring an AVL Integrator

Choosing the right AVL integration firm can make or break your entire project.

In this episode of The Paragon Angle, we break down exactly what to look for in an AVL (audio, video, lighting) integrator—and how to avoid costly mistakes that lead to poor system performance, budget overruns, and frustrating results. From churches and auditoriums to performance venues and corporate spaces, today’s AVL systems are more complex than ever. That’s why selecting the right partner is critical to achieving a fully integrated, high-performing environment.

In this video, you’ll learn:

• Why a single-source integration firm delivers better results
• The importance of in-house AVL design (not manufacturer-driven solutions)
• Why brand-agnostic integrators create better outcomes
• How experience and track record impact your project success
• What to look for in references and client testimonials
• Why direct dealer relationships matter for cost and quality
• The importance of ETCP-certified rigging for safety and liability

A true integration partner will design audio, video, lighting, rigging, and acoustics as one cohesive system—ensuring everything works together seamlessly from day one.

If you're planning a church renovation, new construction project, or upgrading your AVL systems, this is a must-watch before choosing your integrator.
