Bond Issue Brings Performing Arts Center to Cassville, MO

After over 20 years, Cassville High School finally opened a new performing arts center in early 2025 thanks to the passing of a bond issue. The 29,000-square-foot facility features an 800+ seat auditorium, classrooms, and a connecting lobby to the high school. The Cassville School District partnered with Paragon 360 for theatrical consulting, design, and installation, covering audio, video, lighting, and rigging systems.

Designed for Versatility & Flexibility

The new $9M auditorium, designed by Paragon Architecture, features both fixed and retractable seating for flexible use as classroom space or for banquets. It will host the fine arts departments, including band, choir, and theatre, with a parking lot designed for band practice. The space will also be available for community groups and will serve as the new venue for school assemblies.

Audio, Video & Lighting Systems

The new audio systems feature Nexo line arrays and front fills with Fulcrum subwoofers, LEA amplification, Sennheiser wireless systems, and Audix choir mics. The system also includes an EV distributed audio system throughout the new addition. Stage lighting systems include over 50 LED fixtures, HedgeHog console, and ETC relay panels on motorized lighting positions with lots of room for expansion. Video systems include Panasonic PTZ cameras and a 16K lumen Panasonic projector feeding a 21’ wide projection screen. Systems all came complete with power and data distribution to floor pockets, racks, and infrastructure for future expansion. In addition, Paragon 360 provided velour stage curtains, teasers, and legs along with a 60’ wide Cyclorama curtain and all the necessary ETCP-certified rigging systems and hardware.

Paragon 360: A One-Source Solution

Paragon 360 not only provided design and consultation services for the project, but also handled 100% of the equipment acquisition, ETCP-certified rigging, complete installation, system commissioning, and training for a turnkey, design-build service offering. This greatly increases accountability over typical, design-bid projects.
