Position Summary

The Communication Content Creator is an entry- to mid-level professional responsible for producing and executing creative and engaging photography, copy, social media content, and supporting strategic marketing efforts at Paragon 360 and its portfolio companies. The successful candidate should have experience working in the digital space and a portfolio demonstrating their strong understanding of photography, copywriting, social media channels, and ideally, graphic design.

Paragon 360 is looking for the right person to help attract, engage, grow, and retain prospects, clients, and social media followers of its family of companies. You should have a command of the best practices and trends in marketing and enjoy being creative.

Duties & Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following

  • Create, shoot, edit, tag, post, and archive wide variety of digital photographs, including portrait, event, documentary, architectural, etc.
  • Operate higher end, photo cameras, i.e., Canon full-frame, mirrorless cameras with interchangeable lenses
  • Create, shoot, edit, tag, post, and archive shortform videos
  • Run higher end, video cameras, i.e., BlackMagic Design video cameras with interchangeable lenses
  • Use other photography, studio, and audio equipment as needed, e.g., action cameras, lighting, tripods, mounts, jibs, dollies, microphones, etc.
  • Design, creation, and development of marketing media
    • Social media shortform video clips
    • Photo and video shooting and post-production editing
    • Project profile photoshoots
    • Weekly and monthly corporate activity photo wrap-ups
    • Special project internal and external photos and videos shoot
    • Creation and maintenance of project photo libraries
  • Other various content creation and marketing tasks as assigned including
    • Ideate, create, and post regular daily, weekly, and monthly social media content post, including copy and assets
    • Produce engaging, entertaining, and educational social media channel content posts and updates on various platforms, i.e., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
    • Manage social media posts (scheduling, project management, posting) while working with various stakeholders (management, other marketers, agencies, affiliates, etc.)

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, i.e., Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, etc.
  • Strong concepting and creative thinking abilities
  • Ability to develop compelling marketing materials
  • Understanding of marketing principles, targets, and tactics across different channels
  • Experience with photo and video cameras
  • Experience with photo and/or non-linear video editing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Management of assigned projects and meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and use of standard Microsoft office software such as Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, among others
  • Other Key Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and verbal and written communication skills; adaptable and professional team player with positive attitude, ability to multi-task, and client-friendly demeanor; and a desire to be a part of a great company culture
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices

What's Expected

  • Typical in-person, onsite office hours would be 40 hours per week, but the position would involve some overtime in evenings or on weekends, as required to meet certain deadlines
  • Ability to work back-to-back, 10-hour days or longer with a relatively flexible schedule
  • Some travel, with occasional overnight trips, may be required

Experience/Qualifications

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in media, video production, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism, writing, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Experience: 3 to 5+ years
