Valley Baptist Church

In late 2014, Valley Baptist Church in Bakersfield, California, had the opportunity to acquire the property of a church that changed direction and needed to downsize. The 35 acre property included 10 buildings and a worship space that was built in the 1970’s and included a pipe organ purchased from Harvard Universality. Valley Baptist made the decision to use the new Olive Drive Campus as a satellite church. The most immediate needs for this new campus were modern lighting and staging to enhance the older style building architecture as well as audio and acoustical upgrades.

Paragon 360™ was contracted in early 2015 for the project. Systems designed and installed for the project included audio systems using QSC amplifiers and main speaker systems and Yamaha consoles with Aviom personal mixing. Video systems included Digital Projection projectors and a 108” X 192” Vu Tec ascender screen with basic switching equipment. Lighting consisted of new motorized lighting positions with cable management, ETC and Chauvet LED fixtures, ETC Smart Bar dimming, High End Systems Consoles and architectural lighting control stations throughout.

“Once we got Paragon 360 contracted in January, they rapidly got everything set in motion and installation was done at light speed in April. Paragon exceeded our requirements in all areas. The staging is a real strength and transformed our room along with smart lighting. The installation team was a complete joy to work with. We have continued to use Paragon to add on a few items and feel completely confident that we’ll continue to use them on future Valley Baptist projects. ”
