First Baptist Church of Rogers Arkansas completed their new church facility in 2010, which includes a 1,100 seat sanctuary. The church contacted Paragon 360 towards the completion of their new facility to assist them with issues surrounding the stage design.
Paragon 360 worked with the church to develop some alternate staging solutions and set design ideas that would address some of the visual and space issues that were present. The stage design included a thrust area built out of Paragon’s new Modular Cube System. In addition, an entire removable orchestra pit was provided that could be interchanged with side stage areas. This allowed the church to increase their stage space by filling in the orchestra pit and allowed them several options for over-all stage shape and size on the side stage areas.
The set included several contemporary railings with frosted glass to cleanup the stage and choir areas in addition to an array of acoustical panels. The set also included some modesty walls and baptistery surrounds that were built using Paragon’s own signature I-Wall System with interior LED units.
“Paragon 360 opens up the door to possibilities” explains Mark Maier, Worship Pastor for First Baptist Rogers. “When they walk into a room, they see things you don’t and they find cost effective ways to make things happen. What makes them unique is that they have a heart for the church. In the beginning I thought ok, what’s their angle. But there is no angle, they really do care. They came in here and made some serious upgrades to our facility before we even got it open. My only regret was that we did not use them for the design of the whole entire sanctuary in the first place.”
Paragon 360 also provided staging and set elements for the Youth areas and transformed their children’s space which was completed in 2011.
