Ron Robertson has over 23 years’ experience in the professional lighting industry. Ron’s early years include lighting work at Six Flags in St. Louis and later at the Grand Palace theater in Branson, MO. Ron was the lighting designer for Tony Orlando for seven years where he designed countless production shows at Orlando’s Theater in Branson in addition to being on tour with Tony for thousands of concerts, original theatrical productions and television appearances.
Ron has designed and programmed lighting, and created scenic designs for multiple high-profile corporate events for Sam’s Club, GE, FedEx, Hallmark, Payless Shoes, and Wal-Mart. He has also designed and programmed lighting for a wide range of theatrical productions, live television broadcasts, large-scale church pageants and more than eight years of work with the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
As an ‘Ace’ lighting programmer, Ron frequently receives calls to program high-profile events. His 15 plus years on the road enabled him to gain experiences in a wide range of venues from casino showrooms to church facilities, arenas, theaters, convention centers and auditoriums. His vast live event production experience is of unparalleled value to the lighting system design and scenic work he does for Paragon; systems can be designed around practical usage experience.
After joining Brawner & Associates in 2002, Ron worked next to Donnie Brawner in the design of large-scale corporate meetings for Wal-Mart for over eight years. He has designed high-profile lighting systems for theaters, high schools, churches and amphitheaters all across the country. Ron also leads the scenic design work that Paragon does for churches nationwide and is very involved in the development of Paragon’s product line.
Ron also acts as the company’s Vice President. Ron oversees all of the design aspects of the company and has a hand in almost every aspect of the companies daily operations.
