Starting as part of the Carpenters Union and working his way up to Superintendent, Brandon has been a part of the largest and most notable projects in the region.
Brandon has been involved in projects that include the new VA Clinic in Springfield, Springfield Airport, JQH Arena, Greene County Emergency Management Center, Mercy Orthopedic Hospital, Missouri State University Recreation Center, Jordan Valley Parking Garage, Mercy South Tower Hospital expansion, Bass Pro projects, and multiple area school projects.
No project was more memorable than the work performed the night of May 22, 2011. On that night, an EF-5 tornado devastated Joplin, MO. Brandon was part of a crew that was called in from DeWitt and Associates to try and get one of two area hospitals operational again. Mercy hospital was already a lost cause due to catastrophic damage. The crew went to work on Freeman Hospital dealing with one emergency after another trying to keep the hospital operating for the massive patient load. Following the devastation, there were many weekends and sleepless nights until it was fully operational again. Brandon was a Superintendent for the re-building of a new $465 million dollar, state-of-the-art Mercy Hospital that started the following year.
